Care Coordinator / Office Manager

Philadelphia, PA

Part Time / Full Time

Job Summary:

Responsible for all areas of Operations; human resources, intakes, clients, caregivers, scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, college level preferred along with two years related experience and/or training. Experience in home care or knowledge of the health care industry is preferred.

  • Requires proficiency in word processing and computer skills.

  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, and customer service techniques. Must perform and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and work well under pressure.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer the telephone and perform intakes.

  • Initiate the hiring process for caregivers including processing applications, background screening, testing, interviewing, and reference validation.

  • Orient caregivers and maintain current caregiver file in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Record employee information such as personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, evaluations, and termination date and reason.

  • Enters, maintains, and corrects client, employee, payroll, billing and related accounting data into the computer.

  • Order and maintain office supplies, form and equipment.

  • Visit prospective clients/clients after referrals are made to introduce Gentle Hands LLC.

  • Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client needs.

  • Supervise caregivers and complete performance appraisals for caregivers at specified intervals.

Our Perfect Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with one of the following: mobile application software development, mobile release management, mobile operating systems and app ecosystems, and/or software hardware integration (SDK/frameworks, embedded software layers, or devices).
  • Technical experience within the mobile technology stack.
  • Experience developing features from conception to launch, managing execution and delivering high quality products. quality products.
  • Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges.
  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
